CP Diagnostic Testing

If a cathodic protection system is not working properly, Allied’s experienced cathodic protection staff can assess the situation and make recommendations for further diagnostics, adjustments, and/or repairs.

Allied Corrosion provides a comprehensive variety of field survey services, to include and not limited to:

Short Locating

Locating and mitigating electrical shorts on underground pipelines is a necessary part of maintaining a cathodic protection system. Allied Corrosion offers short locating services, in addition to cathodic protection installation and design services.

Field Services

Cathodic Protection is installed in deep wells, 150-700 ft deep to protect buried pipelines.

Linear anodes are placed, in a parallel manner, along the length of the pipeline, in close proximity to the pipeline.

Anodes are placed linearly, perpendicular to the pipeline.

Stray Current Interference Testing

Allied Corrosion offers stray current analysis and mitigation services. These are primarily associated with wither foreign pipelines and/or HVAC power lines.

Pipeline Flange Insulating Installation

Allied Corrosion Industries, Inc., offers services relating to the either the selection of proposed flange insulation sites and/or the assessment of existing flange insulating flanges sets. This service extends and includes the actual installation of flange insulation kits on existing pipeline flanges.

Test Station / Pipeline Marker Maintenance

As part of your pipeline operations, test stations and pipeline should installed, maintained and monitored along the entire pipeline route. This is to include the installation and maintenance of pipeline markers. These as you know are integral to the proper maintenance of your pipeline. Allied Corrosion offers "test station" and "pipeline marker" installation, repair and maintenance services.
